windows xp
diddyhunter asked:

I have a lot of old games and I find a lot of problems with installing them on Windows XP. With some of them I’ve managed to do it, but you need to know certain tricks. Also, does anyone know if I could put a second OS on my system?

  1. If your game can be played on XP then your good. If not your out of luck.

About the OS I think dual core PC’s can or something like that. I’m good at PC’s but I still don’t have an answer to that one.

Following the instructions on the game will help. You can also right click on the game icon after it is installed and select run in windows 95 mode and there are other options too if it helps?

  2. Yes, you can “Dual Boot” a system.
You have to partition the hard drive into separate partitions for each- it’s done in FDISK (*** WARNING*** DO NOT MESS WITH FDISK IF YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU”RE DOING)

As for installing older windows games, learn how to use the Compatibility Wizard in XP

    Hope this helps.
